We are always looking to strengthen the organization by adding the best available people to our staff. We’re seeking a talent acquisition specialist to help us source, identify, screen, and hire candidates for various roles in the company. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, two or three years of experience in talent acquisition, proficiency with applicant tracking systems, and an ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicants. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with others across various departments.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges
  • Attend Job Fairs
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social and professional networks
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitude
  • Manages new employee relocation by determining new employee requirements; negotiating with movers; arranging temporary housing; providing community introductions.
  • Develop strong relationships and partner with hiring manager, vendors and HR managers
  • Work closely with Hiring Managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.
  • Coordinates all temporary and contract personnel hiring.
  • Support other locations with recruitment services
  • Present offer, set up background check, drug and physical screen.
  • Onboard new employees to become fully integrated
  • Data entry of new employee information
  • Ensure compliance with I9 and E verify. Perform regular audits
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Mange Onboarding and off boarding survey and results
  • Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
  • Manages intern program by conducting orientations; assignments; monitoring intern job contributions; coaching interns; advising managers on training and coaching.
  • Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.
  • Assist with Employment Opportunity (EEO) compliance reporting, affirmative action plan reporting, Vet reporting
  • Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity.
  • Manage all areas of immigration files; including filing and preparing for visas, monitor expiration dates.
  • Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects.
Education and/or Experience:
  • Successful candidate must have an associate degree in HR or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in a talent acquisition or similar role
  • Candidate must be familiar with database systems and common HR applications (Dayforce Ceridian preferred).
  • Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications
