Title: Systems & Process Development Engineer (Optical/Mechanical/Automation/Integration)
Duration: 1 year with possible extension
Location: Onsite Vancouver, WA

Hours: Minimum 40 Hours/Week
- Drive the engineering development of display system integration including novel integration equipment and processes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that consists with material scientists, mechanical engineers, optical engineers, automation engineers, and product operations teams.
- Drive DFM reviews, equipment bring-up and qualification, and maintenance and quality control in-field.
- Develop SOPs for on-site operations and training.
- Provide data analysis and reports of tool performance and build data summary.
- Design and drive tooling DOEs to support development of equipment architecture feasibility, tool iterations, reliability.
- Drive in-field failure analysis of performance gap of equipment.
- Manage international vendors and partners to co-develop tools.
- 5-8 years experience.
- Knowledge of mass production and automation of consumer electronics products
- Experience with developing mass-production-capable optical metrology systems, optical alignment techniques and systems, opto-mechanical integration and automation.
- Working knowledge of optical sensing technology and machine vision applications in automation tools.
- Working knowledge of opto-mechanical design using NX or equivalent software.
- Experience of international vendor management.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Experience of developing new product in the consumer electronic category.
- 5+ years of experience in bringing up optical metrology systems, machine vision systems, precision alignment systems, or opto-mechanical automation systems for mass-production.
- Knowledge of structural and stress analysis and FEA.
- Master or Ph.D. in optical engineering, mechanical engineering, and equivalent fields.
- Experience of working with international vendors for automation tool development.
- Experience of international vendor management.
- Knowledge of structural and stress analysis and FEA.

Education: BSME or Optical Engineering or System Engineering or equivalent field.
