Merrick & Company is looking for a Survey Technician for our growing Duluth, GA office. Local candidates only. This is a Full Time position.
Job Description
Merrick & Company is seeking career and quality minded individuals for challenging projects including all types of Boundary, GPS, Photogrammetry, Easement/Right of Way, ALTAs, Topographic Surveys. Successful candidate will work under direct supervision of a Land Surveyor.
Requirements
- Must be proficient in utilizing AutoCAD in the preparation of surveying drawings.
- Experience in Carlson Survey, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation v8, and Bentley InRoads is a plus.
- Must have experience with boundaries, plats, property descriptions, easement & right-of-way maps and processing design survey topography and DTM surfaces.
- Ability to do survey related research is desired.
- A minimum of one (1) year of office based land surveying experience preferred.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Associates or Technical Two year degree preferred.
- Local candidates only.
- Must meet expectations for attendance and punctuality.
- Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and be insurable under Merrick’s insurance carrier.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Physical Requirements
- Requires the ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation.
- Be able to work in an environment with open discussions and visitors without getting distracted.
- May be required to lift up to 20 lbs.
