Summary:

The Supply Planner is an integral part of the Production Planning Operations organization and will create and monitor the company’s production control functions including scheduling, monitoring, and expediting production orders. The position communicates with appropriate sources to ensure attainment of master production schedules (MPS)/(MRP) by ensuring resources (materials, and mfg capacity) are available to support the demand plan. Help to ensure best practices. Monitors inventory levels, work orders, incoming purchase orders and takes-action as required

Your primary activities will include but are not limited to:

1. Generates monthly production plans based on marketing forecast, FG inventory and open orders, making sure FG inventory are replenished prior to the determined safety stock level.

2. Reviews sales tracking against finished goods inventory while coordinating and expediting while coordinating with scheduling and production

3. Monitors and analyzes production workloads ensuring smooth production processes and appropriate communicate/coordination when there are any production relates issues.

4. Assist buyers/sourcing department personnel with raw material forecast based on the FG forecast and future production needs.

5. Attend cross-functional team meetings when needed and as directed by management (production planning; inventory status review, forecast changes, new product launches, etc).

6. Prepare and maintain necessary reports related to production output, demand, supply capacity, and other reports as directed.

7. Maintain optimal inventory levels of finished goods and components while ensuring demand is filled in a timely manner.

8. Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

You’ll need the following (minimum qualifications):

1. Associates Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

2. 3- 5 years production planning or related experience, preferably in a food, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical processing operation, and/or FDA regulated industry.

3. Experience using ERP systems, including but not limited to: SAP, Infor, and/or other.

4. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, rounding)

5. Effective training skills.

6. Strong analytical, critical/ strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on negotiation and conflict resolution.

7. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.

8. Must be highly ethical, have strong integrity, and use value-based decision making.

9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, establishing priorities to meet deadlines.

10. Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with other departments, leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.

11. Self-confident, self-motivated, collaborative professional who thrives in a challenging, fast- paced environment.
