Supply Chain Coordinator
This is a DIRECT HIRE position that will serve as a point of contact and link between employees, internal departments, including vendors, and customers. Customer service is part of this role but purchasing, analytics, and utilizing ERP system are very important.
Qualified candidates would be someone that is data driven and good under pressure. Must have previous experience in purchasing or customer service.
Responsibilities
Purchasing: Optimize the flow of raw materials throughout the plant to minimize inventory levels, minimize transaction volumes and continuously improve efficiency in relation to production schedules.
Create purchase orders, tracks status of orders, act on late, and over/under, and damaged product.
Drive communication with Operations to effectively schedule, minimize lead times and meet customer requirements.
Customer Service: Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous response to customers
Provide customer support by providing pricing and lead times on finished goods and follow up with any issues that may arise.
Maintain customer files by ensuring all necessary paperwork has been received.
Provide credit applications for customers and follow up with credit references.
Administrative: Support Vice President with various tasks. Provide support to Sales Team with raw material pricing, raw material & finished goods lead time. Maintain sales report. Prepare monthly and weekly reports.
Abilities:
Be familiar and open to learning an ERP system
General knowledge of Safety and Quality.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office.
Starting pay is $18+
Job Type: Full-time
