Insight Global is looking to hire a Manager of Supplier Diversity to join one of the largest hospital systems in the nation. In this role, you will develop and implement strategic initiatives to ensure a diverse supplier base for the procurement of goods and services across the organization, inclusive of Tier-1 and Tier-2 diversity strategies. In alignment with the direction of the Supply and Service Resource Management Director, Training, Education & Communications, this role will support the development of a best-in-class Supplier Diversity program that aligns the procurement needs of our business with utilization of suppliers that diversify our supply chain, such as minority, women, veteran, and small-owned businesses.

The role communicates and maintains program guidelines and goals, as well as supports and advises sourcing teams and cross-functional organization leaders, for inclusion of diverse suppliers in RFPs and sourcing decisions. Additionally, the Manager maintains processes in place with supplier diversity reporting and identification systems. This role will facilitate the creation and communication of analytical reports and dashboards to monitor supplier utilization trends and performance to established goals and objectives for a variety of audiences, including internal and external leadership stakeholders, in addition to ensuring compliance with relevant reporting requirements.

The Manager will engage in community outreach to develop rapport with diverse suppliers, and internal outreach necessary to inform, educate, and garner stakeholder support for strategies. Further, the role is responsible for evaluating opportunities to further develop and mature the supplier diversity program, and implementing as appropriate, in collaboration with the Supply and Service Resource Management Director, Training, Education & Communications. Additionally, this individual will support the implementation of organizational diversity initiatives as identified by leadership.

Other Duties include:

Program Development and Management:

-Manage communication and relationships with internal and external leadership stakeholders to achieve diversity program goals and drive strategy.

-Identify and connect qualified diverse suppliers to RFP and other procurement opportunities.

-Collaborate to develop workflows and systems that facilitate data analysis, recommendations, and informed procurement decisions.

-Communicate supplier diversity initiatives to the SSRM team and throughout the organization.

-Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts and benchmark industry best practices to continuously enhance the supplier diversity program by implementing practices as appropriate.

-Manage content relative to current vendor contacts and reporting, related to the diversity program.

-Support other related supply chain initiatives, such as employee ownership, locally-owned, economic impact, etc.

-Maintain and update internal Supplier Diversity SSRM Team Site page.

Stakeholder engagement and support:

-Partner cross-functionally with various internal stakeholders to establish and track supplier diversity strategy and goals, and identify qualified, prospective small and diverse suppliers.

-Contribute to enhancing the diversity of our supplier pipeline through outreach, engagement and participation in development programs.

-Increase engagement amongst key internal stakeholders with diverse suppliers through meetings, presentations, and the understanding of the sourcing landscape within each category.

-Facilitate vendor engagement with diversity program requirements, including tier-2 reporting, program/policy development resources, and goal setting.

-Manage tier-2 supplier portal and vendor reporting compliance.

-Support vendor coordination for registrations, and follow-up as appropriate.

Supplier Diversity Reporting:

-Coordinate Tier-1 and Tier-2 supplier diversity reporting activities, including government, customer, internal and third-party reporting requirements/requests.

-Identify, and facilitate the tracking and management of metrics to articulate diversity program goals, spend, and opportunities across the organization for a variety of stakeholders.

-Develop and manage vendor surveys, along with subsequent analysis.

-Manage, review, and respond to inquiries from various channels, including supplier diversity questionnaires.

Organizational Diversity Development:

-Support work with all internal and external stakeholders to promote equality within the SSRM team.

-Support continuous improvement and change.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
