The primary location of this position is the main Cullowhee, NC campus.

This position provides specialized student services support related to academics and recruitment for the School of Engineering + Technology and Kimmel School of Construction Management in the College of Engineering and Technology. Effective communication and an ability to adjust to change is essential. Responsibilities include course section building, textbook requests and submittals, classroom requests, advising related activities (including overrides, change of major request, advisor assignments, and investigating student records). This position assists school directors with student data collection/analysis and assessment/accreditation support. Duties also include informing students of potential job openings, student recruitment efforts, and student focused events at the school level. This position will also provide general office coverage and administrative support as needed. Other administrative duties as assigned may be required.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree and two years of experience performing similar duties along with required qualifications is preferred. Possess a high degree of proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Preference will be given to applicants knowledgeable in University software including Banner, Navigate, Canvas, and 25Live.
