JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The Cable Technician performs the installation and maintenance of structured cabling systems for telecommunications, security, audio-visual, wireless, DAS and other low voltage technologies.
- Most work is in hospitals located in Long Island, Westchester and New York City.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Good written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English).
- Fiber experience a plus.
- Electrical experience a plus.
- Security experience a plus.
- Cellular and RF cabling experience a plus.
- DAS testing such as sweep and PIM testing a plus.
- Able to work days, nights and weekends.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Able to work in the NY metro area including NYC, LI, Westchester, CT and NJ.
