Supervisor- Enterprise Food and Beverage
This leadership role supporting Enterprise Food and Beverage (EFB) will be accountable for supervisory responsibilities with regard to the operation including the enterprise cafés, on-site Starbucks and catering. The supervisor is expected to effectively assist and then maintain various activities to include: customer service, quality assurance, safety and sanitation standards, budget planning, cost control, operational continuous improvement, supplier relationship management, training and development, and associate performance management. The Supervisor will also develop cross-functional working relationships while maintaining organizational culture and branding throughout the enterprise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Establish service standards in partnership with Café associates and Café manager
· Support the achievement of operational sales goals
· Participates in the development and implementation of goals, policies and priorities for operations
· Plans, coordinates, supervises and evaluates activities and the work of assigned staff;
· Lead, engage and develop teams, including training, coaching and managing performance. Coach employees by creating shared understanding about what to be achieve and how to execute
· Partner with Café manager to develop, execute and maintain onboarding, training, development and performance management solutions for café team(s)
· Partner with Café manager to maintain a working relationship with Starbucks corporate representative(s) to uphold franchisee standards and ensure compliance with Starbucks policies and promotional activities
· Support the inventory process to effectively balance supplies against budget for café as well as franchised Starbucks locations
· Assists with various catering needs and events
· Partner with Café manager to supportcommunication strategy to include preparation of clear and concise records, reports, correspondence and other written and digital materials and make clear oral presentations
· Support budgeting activities and cost control initiatives including a working understanding of accounts receivables and accounts payables
· Develop sourcing strategies, coordinating with vendors, negotiating, preparing and reviewing contracts, analyzing costs, managing logistics, and finding ways to reduce procurement costs.
· Adhere to organizational standards regarding sanitation and food safety techniques in accordance with policies, local agencies, OSHA and FDA
· Develop, update and/or maintain functional Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
· Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, elevate quality and provide exceptional customer service

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
· Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Hospitality, Business Management or like field, preferred
· 1-2 years’ experience in food service, account management, retail operations and leadership
· Previous experience with customer service, retail, sales growth, inventory management and/or supplier relationships, a plus
SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Must be able to lift 30lbs
· Must be able to stand for 7.5 hour shifts
