Sr Systems Sales Manager Job at Carolina Handling LLC
JOB SUMMARY
Carolina Handling LLC is seeking a Sr. Systems Sales Manager with a thorough background in sales that will specialize in Intralogistics sales within Manufacturing, Distribution Center, Warehouse and E-Commerce spaces. This sales professional will be responsible for handling existing Carolina Handling accounts as well as developing new accounts and driving warehouse and Intralogistics initiatives. They will possess the ability to foster internal and external client satisfaction by exceeding customer expectations. They will utilize their interpersonal skills to nurture and cultivate client and vendor relationships to provide total intralogistics solutions. They will work closely with the Warehouse team to prepare and present proposals to the client.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer overall process of a customer’s needs in terms of specifications for intralogistics and automation.
- Provide creative business solutions catered to customer needs.
- Responsible for every phase of marketing Carolina Handling Automation and Raymond Intralogistics offerings, from simple product questions to major pricing/product strategies in these spaces.
- Work closely with respective Manager (Corporate Warehouse Products Manager) on strategic account planning and pricing decisions.
10. Collaborate with Sales, Applications, and Project Management personnel to ensure optimum solutions and implementations.
11. Assist in the collection and analysis of the required field data including product specifications, application environment, customer facility details, existing and new equipment considerations and any pertinent project restrictions.
12. Work with various suppliers to ensure we are providing the proper solutions.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
2. 10-12 years of experience with material handling automation sales and systems development.
- Exceptional business acumen with a demonstrated understanding of key business drivers.
- Must be able to establish and maintain customer confidence and provide exceptional customer service. Listens well to customer needs and gets clarification.
- Demonstrates persistence, overcomes obstacles, and desires self-improvement.
6. Manages competing demands; uses time efficiently.
- Highly motivated to achieve challenging goals.
- Organizational, planning and prioritizing skills.
- Excellent computer skills and efficient in Microsoft office products.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
11. A team player who can work well in a multitasking environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
1. This is a full time, remote position.
2. Extensive travel required.
3. NC, SC, GA, AL and FL Panhandle Territory (NA as required).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to sit, talk, hear and speak with good articulation and voice control. The Associate is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Overnight travel required on regular basis and at short notice.
