Sr. Analyst, Benefits Job at Yum! Brands
In this role, you will play a critical part in executing and providing input for the health and wellbeing strategy for our RSC and company-owned restaurant employees. You will develop and maintain relationships with vendors, external consultants, and internal partners to ensure our health and welfare programs are meeting the needs of our employees and their families. We will look to you to bring fresh ideas for new programs and how to build awareness and excitement for our existing programs. You will also support employees from all levels of the organization: driving education and communication of programs and serve as a mentor for the benefits administration team. Programs we support: Medical, Pharmacy, COEs, COBRA, HSA, FSA, Retiree Medical, Dental, Vision, Life/AD&D, Legal plan.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate employee benefit plan design options, including quantifying short- and long-term business impacts and providing clear recommendations. Develop a process & understand the company’s competitive position compared to other employers and identify business opportunities based on those results, using various sources of data and knowledge.
- Move programs from concept to implementation, developing detailed design, facilitating communications, legal implications, and administration.
- Perform benefits operations functions including day-to-day vendor interaction, effectiveness reviews, plan documentation, etc. Act as the liaison between our vendors and the benefits team to handle escalated issues or employee concerns.
- Develop annual benefits budget allocating costs between divisions/brands and communicating with brand financial/planning teams at least 3x/year.
- Monitor legislative changes and work with our vendors and internal partners to ensure our programs remain compliant.
- Develop repeatable models for gathering and presenting relevant data including claims, plan enrollment, vendor agreements, employee feedback, demographics, etc.
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years overall HR experience with at least 2 years benefits experience in design/analytical roles
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Project management experience
Preferred:
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) Certification
- Excellent organization skills, ability to work autonomously and multi-task various projects
- Able to present complex ideas in a clear, concise manner
