Speech Pathologist Job at North Kansas City Hospital
Under the direction of the department director, provides quality speech pathology services though evaluation of patients and provides the prescribed treatment to restore function and prevent disability. SLP to perform evaluations and treatments. Sundays will be all acute care focused. Monday-Thursday (all are 8 hour days) will be primarily outpatient focused with mixture of pediatric and adult patients. Required to work minimum of 1 holiday per year.
EXPERIENCE: 2 years hospital experience preferred
SPECIAL SKILLS: Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
LICENSE/CERT: Required: SLP (Speech Language Pathologist), BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)
EDUCATION: Required: Masters - Speech Language Pathology
