Illumination Dynamics, Inc. (ID), a supplier of Lighting Equipment, Trucks and Generators to the Motion Picture, Television, Commercial and Sports Broadcast Industries including Automated Lighting to the Entertainment Television and Corporate markets with offices in California and North Carolina.

We seek someone who excels at Building Client Relationships, thrives in an environment of details and multi-tasking. To flourish in this role, you must possess superior networking and relationship-building skills as interaction with potential and existing clients is critical for success.

The Client Contact position is responsible for generating business by proactively building new client relationships while maintaining our existing client base. Along with negotiating deals within established guidelines, fielding customer calls, providing quotes, and sourcing equipment.

The right candidate will possess experience and understanding of Automated and Theatrical Lighting Rental Equipment and the Entertainment and Television industries as they relate to ID’s business.

Fundamental areas of responsibilities for this full-time role include:

• Generate business by proactively establishing new customer relationships while maintaining existing client base

• Process and oversee all aspects of customer orders. Negotiating package within established guidelines

• Proactively identify additional client needs

• Plan and coordinate the day-to-day functions of rentals, which include customer service, job and transportation scheduling and coordinating current and future rentals with supervisors and co-workers.

• Working knowledge of purchase vs. sub-rental functions

• Review and maintain rental inventory and late rental report accuracy

To be considered you must possess the following Skills and Knowledge:

• Knowledge of rental equipment terminology and application as it applies to the Automated, Theatrical and Conventional lighting industry

• Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures

• Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and rental procedures

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in person, on the telephone and in writing

• Exceptional customer service skills with a keen sense of urgency

• Strong negotiation skills and good business sense

• Able to work with a high degree of independent judgment

• Knowledge of sub-rental supply sources
