Ambrose Solar is looking for a talented and experienced individual to join our team in the Sales Department. We are looking for a go getter. An relational customer service oriented individual. An appointment setter! If this fits you we would love to bring you on board!

The employee in this position will interact with fellow employees, customers and sales reps within the company. The employee will handle both inbound and outbound calling responsibilities. This employee will also assist in handling standard incoming calls, perform daily data entry and inputting as well as follow up. This person will set, confirm and reschedule appointments as well as obtain usage. The employee in this position will utilize the knowledge base and case management tools for planning and coordinating assigned tasks to ensure efficient and effective operations, in accordance with customer service standards. (Reception and Administrative Tasks to be included.)

Job Duties

The job duties listed below are typical examples of the work required to be performed by the person/s in this position. Not all duties are included, and it’s important that it is understood duties and tasks may be added as the manager sees fit and/or needed.

  • Make and receive inbound and outbound calls. Provides prompt, courteous, and accurate responses.
  • Data entry will be performed on a daily basis.
  • Update the calendar as needed for sales reps.
  • Update the notes and status of an account when needed or requested by the sales rep.
  • Responsible to work as an information source to answer questions and follow up.
  • Will adhere to policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Recommends and implements new or improved systems to enhance or expedite work.
  • Creates and maintains a positive, respectful work environment.
  • Prioritizes assignments and completes tasks in a timely matter.
  • Performs special projects and miscellaneous duties as assigned and/or needed.
  • Once a job is sold, follow up tasks and updates will be provided to customer by you.

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to plan ahead and prioritize tasks efficiently, also make decisions and take action.
  • Ability to maintain professional, courteous demeanor on the phone as well as in the office.
  • Computer skills/knowledge of Microsoft Office, with intermediate experience in Excel.
  • Knowledge of the company, its products/services, procedures and operations.
  • Knowledge of the application of instructions and guidelines to specific problems.
  • Ability to instruct, direct, and evaluate tasks, and to resolve work related problems.
  • Ability to answer questions and determine appropriate course of action for incoming calls.
  • Ability to maintain records, complete reports/lists, and compose correspondence/emails.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • There may be stressful conditions such as size of workload and/or other specific deadlines.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time and or lift packages 10-20lbs.

Education

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Experience

  • Must have at least two years customer service experience. (Solar and sales experience a plus.)
  • Outbound calling experience is a plus
