THE OPPORTUNITY

The Social Media Specialist works on our Marketing Team and adds value to our guests through social media. This includes increasing engagement and growing audiences on several platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

This is an in-house position at the Costa Vida Support Center in Lehi, UT. They report to the Director of Marketing.

You're a good fit if...

• You can own both organic and paid social media, including content scheduling/posting, and guest response.
• You are comfortable working with the Director of Marketing to support the brand marketing strategy and set social growth goals.
• You can grow the engagement and audiences for the brand on each social platform and create content specific to each.
• You can gain a strong understanding of Costa Vida's guests, and produce content for them.
• You keep a pulse on emerging social media trends and platforms and are ready to maximize the opportunity Costa Vida has with them.
• You can support franchise partners with local social media strategy and execution.
• Other tasks as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Assertive- figures out what needs to be done, comes to a decision, and executes it with minimal oversight.
• Excels in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• A good communicator.
• Strong ability to multitask.
• A desire to do the job well, even if that means occasionally staying late or coming in early.
• 1+ years of experience in Social Media Marketing (Organic & Paid).
• Fluent in the English language.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Strong copywriting skills. Can write concisely, clearly, and naturally.
• Experience with community engagement and management, specifically answering comments and messages.
• Familiarity with Asana, Canva, Meta Business Suite, and Microsoft tools like Outlook and Teams.
