Title: Social Media Coordinator

Region: Beaverton, Oregon (Remote Position)

Wheelhouse 20/20 is a full-service marketing agency based in Beaverton, Oregon that values a positive company culture looking for a social media expert to join our team. We work exclusively in the building material supply industry assisting manufacturers, distributors, retail locations and builders in growing their brands and businesses.

Job Summary and Responsibilities:

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for managing the development and distribution of online content-related assets for our clientsand our company. They will work closely with our entire team (particularly our web developer and our digital ads specialist) and our clients. The main focus for this person will be social media strategy development, organic content creation and curation, comment moderation and online community management. An understanding of digital ads and SEO is preferred, but not required. Management, Creation, & Curation

· Manage multiple editorial calendars and daily execution of content for our clients. (We utilize HeyOrca and Sprout Social for content organization/posting and client approval,)

· Create a variety of visual content for use across social channels. (We use a host of tools including Canva. Our team has full time designers on staff, but your own design experience is appreciated and a plus)

· Curate content ideas based on current events, industry trends, cultural influences, key initiatives, events, PR, and marketing campaigns. Also work with our clients to procure content directly from them.

· Ongoing outreach on social media to engage with current and new customers. Regularly monitor, respond, and engage with users on social channels

· Monitor and maintain our clients’ online reputation on with review and conversation management

· Track and interact with media/influencers where applicable and elevate earned content

· Regularly report key performance metrics to internal teams and clients

· Facilitate and manage social media contests/giveaways

· Consult and educate clients about social media use and the value of social media

· Pitch new business and present ideas to a variety of stakeholders and develop campaign strategies to match their goals.

Advertising

This position will work with our digital ad specialist to create and run ad campaigns in conjunction with their organic efforts. Experience with ads is a plus, but not required.

Experience and Skills Required

· 2+ years demonstrable experience in B2B and B2C social media/digital marketing.

· Facebook Blueprint certified (or proven equivalent experience)

· Proven track record in growing social media followings from the ground up, driving engagement, and developing & implementing robust posting strategies

· Experience driving foot traffic to brick & mortar stores with social content and campaigns

· Experience working with marketing data and metric gathering programs

· Understanding of key marketing performance indicators

· Deep understanding of social media and digital channels and their respective audiences/platform limitations including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Pinterest

· Well-versed in creating a variety of content including short-form text posts, gifs, videos, images, graphics, and more

· Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media/digital marketing

· Experience with G Suite and Microsoft Office including Google Docs, Google Sheets, Excel, and PowerPoint

· Experience developing both organic and paid content

Nice to haves

· Knowledge of SEO/SEM

· Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator
