Stauer, a Richmond-based luxury retailer is looking for a social media content creator. We are in search of a focused self-starter to develop video content across multiple channels (both paid and organic) featuring our jewelry, watches and collectibles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Create video content in support of multiple channels, including internet, social media and email.
- Operate digital video equipment, including computers, cameras and lighting.
- Coordinate production of creative content, taking projects from conception to completion.
- Produce studio and location shoots for video and photography as needed.
- Capture and edit video content.
- Participate in product turnover meetings, as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily production, including a monthly dashboard.
- Collaborate with Merchandising to determine products that will be featured each season.
- Work with stakeholders during pre-production and production when necessary.
- Work closely with PD managers/copywriters to gather editorial content for cohesive video branding.
- Partner with internal teams (Web, Merch, Marketing) to develop and execute video strategies.
- Maintain and update video archives.
- Follow the video request and approval process between Merchandising and Creative.
- Research industry trends and best practices for video production and marketing.
- Travel overnight and work extended hours, as needed.
- Complete other duties as required, including producing photo shoots as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below represent the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required, to perform job functions:
- Experience in video production; 1+ years experience in commercial video production preferred. Photography experience a plus.
- Portfolio of work that demonstrates a range of commercial/product videography, demonstrating artistic talent and technical skill.
- Experience with: Mac computer systems, Adobe Creative Suite and other graphics / editing programs.
- Excellent organization and communication skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and schedules.
- Ability to multi-task and work well as a team player.
- Photography producing experience is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to take on responsibilities and/or tasks not specifically assigned.
