Position Summary
This position is responsible for performing diagnostic tests for sleep disorders and/or neurological processes. The incumbent will have exposure to communicable diseases and blood/body fluids. The majority of time will be spent walking and standing with some intermittent sitting. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs on a frequent basis.
Licenses/Certifications Required CPR, Registry by the American Board of Registry in Electroencephalographic Technology (ABRET) or RPSGT/RST
Specific Educational and Skill Competencies Required H.S. Diploma or GED. Completion of medical based post high school program. Must have the ability to interact with patients and physicians and possess the ability to work with computers. Prior experience performing EEGs is essential. Registry by the American Board of Registry in Electroencephalographic Technology (ABRET) or RPSGT/RST is required.
