As part of the billing team, you will:

• Transmit all appropriate electronic claims to the billing company for processing. Correct any errors on claims and re-transmit as needed
• Post all Electronic Remittance
• Discuss outstanding amounts with Supervisor
• Provide Corporate Support for several nursing facilities in several states.
• Submit electronic claims of Medicare, Medicaid, HMO and insurance billing, as well as Medicare screening eligibility verification,
• Keying and correction of claims on-line, demand bills and no pay bills

• Experience with UB04 billing
• Experience with Medicaid, Medicaid coinsurance, and Medicaid Therapy billing
• Experience posting payments, working rejections, working denials, working aging accounts receivable, running and analyzing reports
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and professional
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, some college or technical training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in A/R capacity in the long term care setting is preferred.
