Description

Abbyson Living is seeking an experienced hands-on Digital (eCommerce) Merchandiser who will work collaboratively with the Digital Marketing and merchandising teams in all aspects of web merchandising and site optimization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of e-commerce principles and have an interest in the digital landscape across selling platforms and marketing channels, building a unified and cohesive user journey. We seek a forward thinker who can use data, analysis, and insights and improve website KPIs to drive continued growth for Abbyson.com.

Core Responsibilities

  • Day to day digital merchandising & product management.
  • Utilize Ecommerce Platform (Shopify Plus) to drive improvements in conversion metrics.
  • Using Google Analytics to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Use AB and multivariate testing to improve the overall customer experience
  • Work with the merchandising and marketing teams to align support for campaigns and product initiatives.
  • Execute onsite promotions, manage creative , pricing, promotional codes
  • Establish and implement digital and visual merchandising strategies.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Proficient use of today’s sales technologies and software.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for the site merchandising using landing pages and content initiatives.
  • Launch products on site in a timely manner based on delivery date and email cadence.
  • Build out new and engaging landing pages to support marketing and promotional campaigns.
  • Leverage website analytics to understand performance and customer interaction within categories, by product placement, and shopping behavior to help identify opportunities.
  • Utilize site metrics to aid in the decision making to inform future merchandising and marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute in conceptualizing monthly campaign themes based on product assortment and seasonal trends.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Leadership teams to align business and marketing goals to our eCommerce site.
  • Report weekly and monthly on metrics including top-line metrics, sales, conversion rates, traffic and customer satisfaction for eCommerce strategies and the brand.
  • Publish new merchandise to the website and optimize product exposure for higher conversion rate and improve the online shopping experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of digital merchandising or marketing
  • Excellent analytical and reasoning skills
  • Excellent communication, time management and organization.
  • Able to review data, draw conclusions, present solutions and take action on the next steps.
  • Familiarity with online content marketing, search, and social media strategies.
