Shipping Clerk Grocery Job at Llano Logistics
Summary:
The Shipping Clerk Grocery is responsible for ensuring that shipping and receiving documents and functions are completed accurately and on time. He/She will work with warehouse Team Members to ensure proper receipt, stocking and shipment of product.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the distribution of timely and accurate information and receiving forms to appropriate Team Members
Ensure the hand-held terminals are maintained and fully charged, ready to update and download in a timely manner
Ensure all receiving data entry is completed on time to allow picking documentation to be prepared
Prepare and sort all picking documentation as per the operating procedure
Prepare all shipping documents and ensure that changes made at out-loading are accurately indicated on drivers’ packing lists
Ensure that all stock is updated and on time
Dispatch shipments to carriers/drop lot
Assist with inventory control
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Key Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or equivalent
6 months warehouse experience preferred
Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
Ability to perform simple math calculations
Ability to identify and locate product which requires reading, counting, and printing
Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shift
Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
