Napleton's Lexus of Wayzata dealership is looking to fill this position which will be responsible for assisting customers with various requests.
Service Loaner Concierge
Functions as a Loaner Inventory Specialist responsible for the daily process of tracking all loaners and ensuring they are ready for use. Ensures walk-arounds are done on a consistent basis to monitor the vehicle. Acts as Service Support to assist management with service needs which may include customer service related projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform and provide accurate contracts for loaner agreements.
- Manage loaner fleet providing prepped clean vehicles ready for guests.
- Accurately inspect conditions of inbound and outbound vehicles with documentation.
- Provide up to date status of guests’ vehicles in service for repair.
- Prepare new vehicles to enter loaner fleet.
- Monitor soon to be retired loaner vehicles to be transferred to sales department.
- Create reports of outstanding loaner vehicles that are due.
- Keep up to date of maintenance of loaner vehicles.
- Other duties as needed.
Training
- Completes all online required Lexus training.
- Attends all on-site/off-side training as required.
MINMIUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- High school diploma and at least 1 year experience automotive service industry or hospitality industry.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and computers.
- Effective multi-level interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals with the ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and schedule form.
- Valid Driver’s License, acceptable driving record and at least age 18 years of age required to drive company or customer vehicles.
Physical Demands
- Regularly require to talk, hear use hand to finder, handle, or feel: frequently required to stand, sit and reach with hand and arms: and occasionally required to walk.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job included close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Must work a predictable and consistent work schedule as determined by management and business needs.
Work Environment
- Frequently exposes to fumes or airborne particles: occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. (use of ear and eye protection required when in the shop area)
