Seed Service Advisor- Channel Seed - Nebraska
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Seed Service Advisor, you will provide critical account and product support for our Channel field sales team, Seedsmen dealers and growers in the Nebraska geography. This role will be hybrid based, mostly working from home with collaboration a few times a year in either the Lincoln/Waco NE or St. Louis, MO (Creve Coeur, MO) locations.
The primary responsibilities of this role, Seed Service Advisor , are to:
- Be responsible for the Channel seed product supply relationship with Seedsman and Grower customers for assigned accounts and strengthening relationships in a proactive, intentional way;
- Analyze account history and build annual operational plans with accounts to create mutually beneficial approaches that support achievement of account and Bayer business targets;
- Influence account behavior in support of Sales and Operational business plans including influence-to-take in non-optimal scenarios, adopting new processes, tools and systems;
- Implement continuous improvements in operational efficiency and customer experience;
- Provide value-added services that enhance the customer experience and induce loyalty;
- Utilize basic agronomic knowledge to support product upsell or substitutions;
- Be accountable for Operational Excellence within Product Supply processes that can be shared with customers to enhance their business;
- Understand, advise and support accounts on product updates, marketing and operational programs;
- Provide information on order, supply availability, timing, deliveries, updates on products, marketing and operational programs;
- Understand the Region’s supply needs and position partnering cross-functionally to optimize orders and product deliveries to meet marketing timing needs and Bayer business targets;
- Seek customer feedback to track satisfaction level and identify solutions where there are gaps;
- Manage research, resolution, documentation and communication for complaints and errors;
- Collaborate with Customer Operations for resolution of transactional requests;
- Identify and deliver cross-functional solutions to achieve operational excellence for Brand Family and Regions while aligning with other regions for a consistent brand experience;
- Drive innovative approaches to gain efficiency, reduce resolution rates and elevate the customer experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Professional experience in Customer Service, Commercial Sales, Logistics, Operational or Agricultural fields;
- Self-motivated, results oriented with a process improvements mind set able to work independently with minimal supervision;
- Works well in a team environment to achieve common goals;
- Excellent customer service and influencing skills with very strong written and verbal communication skills;
- High agility in a fast-paced environment will ability to effectively work in a matrix environment;
- Problem solving and decision-making ability based on data and analytical prowess;
- Customer focus, collaboration, negotiation, relationship and conflict management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management or other business-related discipline;
- Five (5+) years of professional experience in Customer Service, Commercial Sales, Logistics, Operational or Agricultural fields.
