Server - El Vez Fort Lauderdale Job at STARR Restaurants
Award-winning, multi-concept hospitality group, STARR Restaurants is seeking industry professionals to join our team at El Vez located adjacent to acclaimed sister restaurant Steak 954 at the W Fort Lauderdale. Its breathtaking space is a feast for the eyes with imaginatively designed dining areas, indoor and outdoor bars, a spacious patio, and beautiful ocean vistas.
El Vez's culinary program showcases creative, yet classic Mexican fare with an emphasis on Baja-style cooking that celebrates the fresh seafood of the South Florida region. An array of Guacamoles, Ceviches, and classics like Mahi Mahi Tacos sit side-by-side on the extensive menu along with signature dishes like Grilled Whole Branzino and Traditional Tacos al Carbon.
We are seeking Servers interested in being part of a lively and exciting Baja-Mexican-influenced restaurant.

The ideal candidates will have:
- 1-year prior experience as a Server in a busy well-rated restaurant
- Prior experience using a POS system
- Able to read and verbalize a menu to a guest using thorough food knowledge
- Knowledge of classic wine and cocktails
- Experience with Mexican cuisine is highly preferred
- Ability to work in a consistently fast-paced environment
