The primary role of the Senior Warehouse Specialist is to efficiently and accurately perform daily warehouse tasks. Day-to-Day activities include but are not limited to shipping, receiving, and inventory and put away. The Senior Warehouse Specialist will be part of a supportive warehouse team that is aligned in the accurate and timely fulfillment of our clients’ orders.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

• Receive, pick, put away and ship orders from warehouse stock with precision
• Partner with all departments related to purchasing, logistics, accounting, customer service and sales
• Proven ability to influence across boundaries, communicate effectively in both a written and verbal format.
• Monitor and maintain physical inventory count of warehouse supplies such as boxes, pallets, tools, etc.
• Trouble shoot technical problems with warehouse equipment and software
• Maintain high levels of quality and accuracy in shipping and receiving
• Perform all other miscellaneous duties as assigned

• DHL E-ship knowledge
• Proficient in using Fed Ex Ship manager and UPS World ship software
• Properly prepare LTL shipment pallets
• Use warehouse picking and shipping tools
• Shipper Letter of Instruction preparation experience
• Accurately process Commercial Invoices
• Knowledge of NAFTA Certificate of Origin is prepared accurately preparation experience
• Assemble Warehouse Fast Rack Shelving
• Cross-train in all warehouse functions on both shifts
• Availability to open and close the warehouse
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Education or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in a senior warehouse role
• Forklift Operators Certification
• Driver’s License
• Good organization and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged periods standing up
• Requires ability to lift up to 50lbs
