Integrated Security Technologies, Inc. (IST) designs, installs and services integrated electronic and physical security systems (access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, physical barriers, etc.) for government and commercial entities. Though based primarily in the mid-Atlantic region, our team members dispatch to locations throughout the nation and occasionally overseas. IST is searching for a Senior Service Technician to support clients in the Richmond, VA area.

The Senior Service Technician will supervise, plan and perform security system service, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and demolition tasks. Security systems include access control systems, burglar alarm systems, CCTV and other electronic and physical security systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and equipment schematics.
  
• Provide direction and leadership for system service.
• Install and program Alarm (Intrusion), Access Control, IP video systems.
• Provide updates to project manager and customers.
• Test, troubleshoot and preform necessary corrections to security system.

Requirements

• High school diploma or state-recognized equivalent.
• Five or more (5+) years of experience running security system service projects.
• Knowledgeable of security equipment systems (i.e., intrusion detection, assessment, and access control).
• Capable of servicing and maintaining various alarms, access control, and assessment system devices.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, work extended hours, and travel independently.
• Valid state driver license with a clean driving record for the last three (3) years.

• Ability to obtain and retain a U.S. Government Security Clearance preferred.
• DCJS certified or ability to obtain is required.

• Prior troubleshooting experience a plus.
• Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Project a bonus.
• Willingness to travel on the East Coast, if needed.
• Security industry certifications.
• Knowledge of: Software House, Lenel, AMAG, Galaxy, Brivo, Bosch, Southwest Microwave, Genetec, and/or Onssi.
