Overview:
Sr. Specialist – Email Channel marketing lead is responsible for planning and overseeing the implementation of our marketing strategies across Email. The Sr. Specialist will develop channel-specific marketing strategies, plan marketing campaigns, and manage marketing communications. Partner with Campaign Optimization & Analytics Specialist to review and optimize campaign performance and supports CRM Specialist. Ideal candidate should include detail orientated, accurate, strong communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work independently and as a team member, and adherence to deadlines.

Responsibilities:
Develop Chain Email plan/strategy (both Promotional + Automated Campaigns)

Ensure channel plans are aligned with promotional strategy and updated as needed

Incorporate provided SOV guidance into channel planning

Collaborate and support cross functional teams (Credit/Loyalty, Brand Marketing, Social, Store Testing)

Lead Email personalization initiative

Lead Email testing strategy

Own automated campaign creative execution

Email Channel acquisition & file health

Partner with Campaign Optimization & Analytics Lead to gather performance results and recommendations to improve overall campaign performance

Ensure Marketing Coordinator has a clear understanding of Email Plans & Execution Details

Be aware of market data, trends, consumer preferences, and competitor behavior to optimize channel strategies

Facilitate creative execution and ensure final creative meets strategy across Chain Email, DM and Mobile campaigns (Own Email + Support Mobile/DM)

Coordinate any new Email (Promo & Automated) offers w/Store Ops, Customer Service & Merch Ops

Partner with legal on program requirements/communication as needed

Work Experience and education requirements2-4 years of experience in Retail Channel Marketing

4 year college degree preferred

Experience with women’s specialty apparel preferred

Exceptional organizational, follow through and time management skills

Experience with email, mobile and/or database marketing

Strong verbal, written communication skills

Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work; solid proofing skills

Proactive team player with positive “can-do” attitude; strong collaborator with internal & external partners

Highly adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, priority driven environment; sense of urgency when needed

Passion for customer service, customer relationships; desire to learn and grow

Bright and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills; professional, personable, approachable and courteous

Advanced ability to drive creativity and innovation – Strong strategic thinking skills
