Our Senior Manager, Project & Program Management can be based remotely from anywhere in the United States.

As the Senior Manager of Project and Program Management you will report to the VP of Product. You will work closely with your team and the leaders of MineralTree's Product Delivery teams to successfully deliver critical projects in an effort to help MineralTree lead the rapidly expanding Accounts Payable Automation industry. You will be responsible for strategic projects spanning the company and reporting status at the executive level. You will also establish foundational project and program management tooling and practices across the Product Delivery Team.

Responsibilities:

• Establish a strong Project and Program Management Team to ensure the delivery of strategic outcomes with high quality
• Ensure the delivery business value by championing a culture of accountability and consistent application of project and program management practices
• Work across team boundaries to ensure collaboration, communication, visibility, and successful delivery of programs and projects
• Drive alignment across teams and leadership levels to help achieve company-wide strategic outcomes
• Identify and prioritize critical efforts with a risk and customer-centric mindset
• Provide analysis and thought leadership on issues critical to the success of the business's strategic goals
• Drive management of complex program dependencies that could affect the success of other initiatives
• Be critical of established processes and suggest relevant improvements
• Communicate across multiple channels with a wide range of audiences including Directors and above, with board level visibility
• Be responsible for company wide transformations that further strategic company objectives
• Foster a constructive dialogue, harmonize discordant views, and lead the resolution of contentious issues across the organization
• Establish goals and objectives for your team and develop and manage individual development plans
• Ensure Product Delivery lives agile values and principles while following established processes and practices
• Responsible for establishing and evolving project and program management practices and tooling
• Promote empowerment of your team and encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality
• Manage your team to ensure alignment with established budgets. Contribute to the annual budgeting process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 7-10 years of experience working with agile software development teams and managing large, complex, cross programs that span the organization
• Experience with Agile transformations is helpful
• 2+ years of experience hiring, coaching and developing project/program managers
• High emotional intelligence
• Ability to win hearts and minds and to influence, inspire, and motivate those around you to get the right things done
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
• Experience working in a startup environment with dynamic challenges
• Excellent oral and written communications skills coupled with experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels, including the executive level
• Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view
