POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for Annual Business Plan (Budget & Market Plan) , Marketing Promotions as well as Brand Standards, Purchasing Standards, Labor Management and Asset Management, Accounting Controls, Safety & Compliance. This positionis responsible for the day to day Operation of the F&B outlet(s) which may include multiple Resorts.Ensures a fun and attractive atmosphere is mantained so that the guest and employees alike recognize the outlet(s) to be the area restaurant(s) of choice. Ensures F&B operations run pursuant to property standards and all food is ordered, plated, delivered and rung up according to brand standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Develops, affects and monitors the Annual Business Plan (Budget & Market Plan).
  • Communicates, monitors and assures compliance to all Brand Service Standards.
  • Coordinates and affects training and development of all F&B staff to Brand Service Standards and Procedures inclusive of knowledge testing, menu knowledge, etc.
  • Ensures training and compliance to all Accounting procedures.
  • Direct, motivate, engage and develop the front of the house staff.
  • Organizes and affects Quality Culture inclusive of focus on Business Plan, Quality scores, Service Recovery empowerment and product/menu items feedback.
  • Ensure all cash handling procedures, processes and standards are adhered to at all time without exception.
  • Ensure the facilities are kept in top physical condition and cleanliness and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Maintain employee relations for the front of the house staff.
  • Oversee payroll, performance management, 90 day and annual appraisals, and compensation of front of the house staff.
  • Manage the selection and retention processes and be measured on results.
  • Liaise with and build strong relations with other outlet leaders and resort operational leaders.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
  • Maintain a high quality of guest relations, ensures each interaction enhances the experience of our guests and employees alike.
  • Schedule staff according to staffing guide and business need while maintaining service standards.
  • Maintains updates on Industry Trends (Restaurant & Resort), Competitive Set and new products and promotions to keep outlets current for the continuous changing customer.
  • Supports and manages the restaurant while working closely with the General Manager and other resort departments.
  • Responsible for short and long term planning of the outlet.
  • Ensure effective employee hiring, training, development, promotion and continuous reinforcement of service expectations.
  • Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results.
  • Develop and implement creative strategies for revenue enhancement and cost containment.
  • Develop and implement the budget, marketing plans and objectives. Manage within those approved plans.
  • Plan, coordinate & manage special events and holiday functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English
  • Ability to speak, read and write in Spanish preferred
  • 2 years of directly relevant management experience
  • 5 years of relevant food and beverage experience
  • Resort, theme park or similar experience preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be accepted
  • Strong active listening skills
  • Ability to motivate, engage and lead employees
  • Anticipate customer / property needs
  • Ability to maintain excellent guest service
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Food and Beverage Management State Certification
  • TIPS Certified
