What you’ll do:
In this individual contributor role, you will work across the Product and Technology Organization and with our Sales, Supply & Demand teams as well as with our Global Operations and Development Engineering teams. This position will be based in the United States (New York, NY or remote), with occasional travel. The role will report directly to the Director Programmatic Operations, Sirius XM Media Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and monitor programmatic PMPs and Deals for Buyers across 3rd party DSPs and Agencies and ensure delivery goals are met.
- Offer strategic and tactical recommendations to internal counterparts based on clients tagging, measurement and KPI strategy.
- Troubleshoot non-performing Deals, assist in mitigating inventory and DSP performance issues; triage programmatic deals that are unable to activate or are not spending to desired levels.
- Work with Publisher/TAMs to optimize supply and audience pools to increased yield.
- Create regular reporting on publisher inventory avails, sell thru, revenue and audience statistics.
- Research and drive improvements to marketplace offerings and functionality that can improve buyer/seller monetization and company revenue performance.
- Build, maintain and manage tactical relationships with Trading Desks, DSPs and SSPs for deal escalation and capabilities.
- Drive excellence in the use of sales applications and ticketing processes centered-around organizational use of Salesforce and Jira and ensuring quality in the opportunity management and deal flow processes.
- Maintain regular statistical analysis of partnered buy-side platforms including, bid-metrics analysis, revenue reporting, deal tickets analysis and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Maintain various internal resources, documentation and materials for DSP partners (such as, Confluence pages and internal tools) to inform wider SiriusXM teams of our Programmatic Strategy and activity.
- Innovate and maintain Programmatic source of truth documentation and matrices.
- Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on programmatic buying trends, private exchanges, and premium programmatic initiatives.
- Design and deliver business cases, performance updates, business reviews, and growth opportunity presentations to key internal contacts.
- Partner and work internally to identify new areas of opportunity within existing and new strategies and initiatives.
What you’ll need:
- 7+ years of Digital Advertising experience at an agency trading desk, publisher, demand side platform or sell side platform including project and or account management experience.
- BA/BS degree required at minimum, MBA a plus.
- Deep knowledge and experience in mobile advertising space including technical skills (Google Ad Serving and Exchange products, AdsWizz Platform experience, rich media, attribution, audience targeting and data modeling).
- Ability to compile and analyze performance data and metrics and make recommendations to internal teams.
- Demonstrated ability in effectively coordinating and driving of strategic initiatives across an organization (both internally and externally) to achieve key deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability in managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
- Self-starter and quick learner. Confidence and ability to tackle new initiatives with little guidance.
- Creative thinker and positive attitude a must.
- Assumes accountability and ownership of projects assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $120,000 - $160,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
