Finley Engineering Company is hiring a Senior Broadband Engineer to join its growing team. This is a remote role and we’re looking for candidates in MN, WI, IA, SD.

As a Senior Broadband Engineer, you will perform advanced professional engineering work related to broadband networks. In this role you will Develop plans, specifications, contract preparation, administration, and supervision as needed on assigned tasks.

Job Duties:

• Design broadband networks utilizing programs such as ESRI, Visio, AutoCAD, and other design software and tools as required.
• Provide calculations and records in support of feasibility studies, cost modeling, project management, and troubleshooting
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.
• Complete fiber optic splicing schematics.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints to plan projects.
• Provide competent engineering and technical assistance to the Project Managers and Senior Project

Managers.

• Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety

standards.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in engineering preferred
• 5+ years of broadband engineering experience
• ESRI, Visio, AutoCAD experience
• Professional Engineering license preferred.
