Overview:
PACE Supply's HVAC division is thriving and growing, and we are looking for a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team as a HVAC Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) in our Stockton, CA region. Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for growing sales and increasing PACE Supply profits by way of planning and executing new branch setup, cultivating customer relationships, developing and executing divisional strategy with key stakeholders in division and abroad.

A BDM will grow sales by building relationships with key internal/external stakeholders at key accounts. Working closely with the sales leadership of the division to develop and execute the business plan of adding value with competitive pricing, product knowledge, exceptional customer service, and building a partnership with customers in their assigned territory.

Moreover, the BDM understands current market conditions and establish networks to build relationships with customers, managers, branch employees, and all peers. They will also be responsible for conducting training at various locations, working directly with Account Managers to seek new opportunities, and also sell cross-divisionally.
Responsibilities:
POSITION SUMMARY
  • Calls on assigned customers in a given territory and performs joint calls with Account Managers
  • Ability to integrate industry partners into sales opportunities
  • Articulates the organization’s value proposition within customer business situations
  • Educates customers on how to differentiate from competitors and assists customers in increasing their selling skills
  • Knows the value of building relationships and views this as a critical part of their success
  • Manages time and schedules to be able to best serve customers
  • Regularly follows new leads for and prospects new customers
  • Relays market conditions and information in sales meetings and to sales management
  • Follows up on all job quotes for customers
  • Maintains regular communications with internal divisions and looks for opportunities for cross-divisional selling
  • Upkeep of customer pricing
  • Notifies customer of any and all product price increases
  • Responsible for any and all issues that customer has ·
  • Market-specific product needs and price points and communicates information internally
  • Manages communication between customers and our vendor partners·
  • Advocate for your customers while finding that fine balance between pleasing them and keeping PACE Supply profitable
Qualifications:
Qualifications:

  • Must possess strong interpersonal and organization skills, ability to work in a cohesive environment, and have previous related experience.
  • Handle customer phone calls and walk-in customers along with email orders.
  • Highly motivated, able to meet deadlines and customer service oriented with ability to build relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer and data entry skills required and proficient in Outlook.
  • Client follow up, organizational skills, and effective communication
  • 10 years of experience relating to HVAC or a combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify.
