About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounting AP specialist. The AP specialist will be responsible for monitoring general accounting practices, developing internal accounting controls, reporting regularly to HQ, and fulfilling local tax requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper management of the general ledger, accounts payable, and all other accounting requirements, in compliance with Group Accounting policies and procedures
• Reliability, quality and timing of statutory and management reporting
• Assure the consistency and implementation of the controlling model across every transaction
• Assure the effectiveness of the purchasing process (PR/PO)
• Assure the consistency between the bank statement and G/L bank account
• Local tax filling and fulfillment of local fiscal and statutory requirements
• Lead organization effectiveness by maximizing performance and people development and engagement
• Grant legal and tax local compliance with the Finance Manager

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting in relevant role
• Degree in Economics / Business Management or similar area
• Advance user of MS Excel and experience in common ERP systems
• Experience in SOX or internal controls environment
• Ability to build and maintain effective department relationships
• Local Fiscal and Statutory knowledge
• Local Accounting Standards
• Tax planning
• P&L and BS analysis
• Focus on accountability, striving for excellence
• Teamwork, ability to influence others and make the difference
