Job Summary:
As a Security Technical Project Manager, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects using your technology and project management expertise. This will include gathering requirements from internal customers, managing project schedules, identifying risks, and clearly communicating to project stakeholders.
This is a 12-month position with the potential for an extension up to one year.
Responsibilities
· Lead requirements elicitation for new security solutions, benchmark with external partners, and assess potential providers.
· Manage cross-functional projects in a matrix organization covering a range of areas
· Provide hands-on program management with internal teams and vendors from ideation to deployment
· Champion strategy definition, planning, execution, risk management and communication on programs
· Manage project status, track project deliverables, and provide appropriate escalation and resolution of risks as needed
· Manage scheduling activities and facilitate meetings with stakeholders representing the project's activities
· Establish accountability for team members to help them navigate competing priorities
· Support client by training and documentation around future plans supported with metrics and information
· Work independently with minimal supervision
Qualifications
· 5+ years’ experience as a professional, business consultant in a technical project manager capacity
· Possess technical writing and communication skills
· Strong overall project management skills and ability to manage teams
· Strong ability to build credible relationships across multiple internal customer groups
· Proven track record of professional integrity and ownership
Preferred Qualifications
· 3+ years’ experience working on security-related projects
· Experience working with one or more of the following systems or vendors: physical security solutions, video surveillance, health & security risk management vendors, visitor management system, or emergency mass notification systems.
· Professional project management certification, such as PMP, CSM or equivalent certifications
Location
· This role is 80% remote with the expectation for applicants to be able to work out of our Seattle office 1-day per week.
