Bargain Hunt is a discount retailer with a total of 85 stores, across 10 states. Our focus is to offer customers great products at a great value. Bargain Hunt purchases product from 100’s of domestic vendors with majority of the inbound volume delivering to our distribution centers in Antioch, TN and LaVergne, TN.
We partner with a 3PL to source TL, LTL, Dray, and IM carriers. Bargain Hunt has a dedicated fleet that makes all store deliveries. The store delivery solution utilizes a relay model that runs both linehaul and LTL drivers between our facility in Antioch, 10 dedicated LTL terminals, and our 85 stores.
The Distribution Center performs both cross-docking and processing of inventory per the allocation team’s store breakdown.

The VP of Supply Chain is a key team member that works cross-functionally within the organization to ensure Bargain Hunt continues to offer great deals to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- The position will require a strategic, hands-on leader to develop and manage large teams, handling both retail distribution and transportation for Bargain Hunt’s network of stores.
- Drive process improvement and cost reduction initiatives; streamline and optimize day-to-day operations; works on strategic projects that have company-wide impact.
- Full ownership and responsibility over Supply Chain and Transportation P&L, including annual labor and expense budgeting and forecasting.
- Creates labor and capacity plans to minimize cost while achieving production goals.
- Leads identifying and developing WMS systems and procedures to optimize inventory flow.
- Analyzes and plans needs to accommodate future growth including capacity and material handling needs.
- Commands a strong senior presence while building a team of high-performing Operations Managers and Supervisors; Manage and effect change through continual feedback and coaching.
- Establishes and drives key performance metrics across safety, employee engagement, inventory accuracy, productivity and customer service; Regularly communicate performance trends and improvements to the senior leadership.
- Sets clear goals and expectations for department leaders. Measures performance, provides feedback, and holds leaders accountable.
- Partners closely with a variety of groups company-wide, including Merchandising, Store Operations, Human Resources, Maintenance, IT and other leaders to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives.
- 7+ years of distribution, e-commerce, supply chain, operations, or logistics experience managing large scale, complex operations. Strong process, warehouse management system and material handling experience preferred.
- Proven ability as a passionate people-centric leader who can effectively drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and synthesize multiple points of view into a streamlined action plan.
- Organized, meticulous and detail-oriented.
- Tenacious and resilient in the face of adversity and change.
- Confident, entrepreneurial self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritize projects to delegate tasks appropriately.
- Analytical ability necessary to gather and interpret data to further develop, recommend and implement solutions.
- Experience with complex operational, process, and performance improvement projects.
