Overview
Empire Office is currently seeking a Scheduler in our* Secaucus, New Jersey* location to join our growing team. This is an administrative role within an operations environment and requires a highly organized individual with strong computer skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Organizes and maintains schedule as work orders come in
- Prints out work orders and organizes them accordingly
- Works with warehouse team members and installers to ensure deliveries are properly coordinated
- Accurately tracks and records staff hours and reports these to Accounts in a timely manner
- Effectively coordinates and communicates with several departments, including installers, sales staff, and union contacts
- Answers phone calls and properly routes messages to respective Operations and Sales teams
Skills & Qualifications
- Highschool diploma or GED preferred
- Available to work in-office Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
- Available to take calls outside of normal office hours (i.e. nights, weekends) according to company needs
- Prior furniture and/or dealership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
- Proficiency with technology and computer literacy required
- Procore experience preferred, but not required
- Basic knowledge of blueprints and/or prior experience reading blueprints
- Basic knowledge of union work
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
