SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner to provide information in response to inquires about products and services.
- Handle customer complaints concerning billing and products.
- Receive and process customer orders in a timely manner.
- Review shipping schedules and communicate any discrepancies with customers immediately.
- Develops and maintains constructive relationships with all areas, internal and external, to ensure customer needs are met.
- Utilizes computer efficiently to access multiple databases and successfully retrieve information aids for successful service and sales.
- Enters and maintains current and accurate data in all company systems relating to customers.
- Engages in all cross training opportunities and completes all required training.
- Assists in managing customer accounts with internal and external departments. This is to include, but is not limited to Sales, Shipping, and Production/Scheduling.
- Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer’s experience.
- Maintain house accounts assigned. This is to include, but is not limited to sales, forecasts, opportunities, complaints, and orders.
- Review customer forecasts working with Production/Scheduling on changes.
- Review customer scorecards for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain good attendance and dependability.
- Other duties assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS – To perform this job successfully, the individuals must be qualified with knowledge, skill and ability listed below:
- College degree is preferred but not required (education can be supplemented by comparable years of relative customer service experience.
- Demonstrate excellent computer skills using Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Must possess strong communication skills.
- Skill in organizing resources, establishing priorities and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances.
- Desire to grow professionally and assume more responsibility.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employees is regularly required to sit, stand, climb, walk, use hands, talk and hear for a minimum of eight (8) hours a day.

- Must be able to lift and/or move 15 to 20lbs. periodically during the day.
