Marine Fasteners, The Fastener Supplier for America's Largest Boat Building Groups, is recruiting a sales leader who is interested in a new career challenge working with an innovative growth organization. Our Regional Customer Service/Sales Manager is a key leader who will drive sales and customer service annual objectives are consistently achieved. The Regional Customer Service/Sales Manager has leadership responsibilities with the following overarching success goals:

  • Proactively manage high-valued client relationships while growing Marine market share
  • Lead, develop, coach 10-person sales/support team who consistently achieves sales goals
  • Build culture of high performing sales team improving client value and developing new clients
  • Improve our client’s competitive advantage leveraging our CRM business intelligence data

Success Criteria

  • Develop and execute sales targets for region
  • Lead regional 10-person sales to grow current customers while increasing profitable revenue
  • Ensure team complies with customer service/sales objectives, performance standards
  • Set clear achievable team goals and KPI’s; measure performance and report timely KPIs
  • Develop team to successfully perform critical work activities, skills, drive customer excellence
  • Troubleshoot issues and quickly resolve customer concerns
  • Identify operational issues and recommend best practice solutions
  • Prepare reports, analyze data, report to assist executive management and customers
  • Work with leadership teams to support and maximize customer satisfaction.

Experience Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 10 years + work experience
  • 3+ years leadership experience leading $1-$5M+ Inside sales center
  • Proficiency with CRM data mining and developing client based value-added reports
  • Proficient in Excel and MS office suite
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Outgoing, motivator, persuader, influencer able to build team and customer loyalty
  • Track record building high performing sales team
  • Driver of results, organized, problem solver, able to work through ambiguity
  • Strong emotional intelligence able to maintain composure during stress times
