REASONING ABILITY
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must successfully complete Responsible Gaming or Learn 2 Serve training.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have acceptable driving history as determined by Penn National Gaming’s auto insurance carrier.

- Knowledge of and enforcement of all gaming laws and regulations which apply to the functions and duties of this position.
- Welcomes all arriving tours groups. Explains myChoice tier cards and assists guests with any questions or problems.
- Remains current on arriving groups and notes any special needs.
- Documents any guest complaints or comments.
- Works closely with Player Services, Hotel, & Player Development to ensure proper group tracking.
- Exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow team members.
- Assists clients with any problems or special requests to ensure the best personal service to meet guests' needs
- To solicit local catering events and new group business at Hollywood and 1st Jackpot Casino.
- To make menu suggestions, decorations, room set-up, etc. to clients and book according to the standards set forth by Hollywood Casino.
- To generate all necessary documentation as set forth by Hollywood Casino standards.
- To coordinate with meeting planner/event coordinator from time of booking, the successful completion of the event, through the follow-up of the event including but not limited to the complete payment of all monies owed to Hollywood and 1st Jackpot Casino.
- To maximize the profits of Hollywood and 1st Jackpot in compliance with space release policies set forth by Hollywood and 1st Jackpot Casino standards.
- Exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with customer of fellow team members.
- Responsible for meeting and exceeding the monthly and annual revenue targets by generating brand-new and repeat business through referrals, telephone solicitation, direct mail, outside sales calls, networking, and other community marketing techniques.
- Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Director of Hospitality and GM.
- Record deposits, forward checks to accounting and coordinate billing and credit approval for Banquet/Catering clients.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
- All duties as assigned by your direct leader and / or a member of management.

- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Previous experience in Food & Beverage desired, but not required.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook programs.
- Excellent motivational, communication and customer service skills required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
