Overview

You will be a key player in our ability to close new deals and provide technical subject matter expertise related to healthcare technology value in collaboration with our commercial sales business units.

As a technical subject matter expert, you will also work with our Product Management teams to roll out emerging products.

This role will involve sales engineering, business analysis, operations analysis, technical projects, and account management.

The ability to execute is essential. This role will manage the front-end bridge of the product between our technical teams and Commercial sales team to ensure training and workflow documentation is provided and lead client discovery calls with commercial prospects.

In addition to this position being the primary liaison with our Commercial teams, this position collaborates with Enterprise Program Mgmt., technology operations, engineering, and clinical application teams to ensure that solutions meet the needs of the end users.

Responsibilities

40% - Primary technology liaison with the Commercial business units to provide:

  • Presales discovery calls
  • Technical assistance
  • Product demos
  • Show the value of Myriad’s technology offering to aid in closing deals/technical wins

20% - Risk Analysis – Proof of concept – Statement of Work

  • Identify clinic workflow pain points
  • Develop a statement of work/charters to outline the steps to mitigate risk and identify the right scope task to deliver a successful technical project outcome
  • Conduct market research to understand a clinic’s business objectives/goals to use in the technology value proposition

20% - Project Management

  • Must show professionalism, responsiveness, and friendliness always when engaging with prospects, clinics, and customers, via phone, chat, and email as needed
  • Capture customer stories to be communicated to our product, engineering, and technical operations teams
  • Adopt and enhance SOPs as they relate to the Sales Engineer operational aspects

20% - Analytical and Problem solving

  • Investigate clinic pain points or areas of friction, workflow deficiencies related to their orders and results process and figure out its key elements to find a frictionless ideal solution in a prompt and efficient manner by

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of healthcare technical experience in similar roles such as Solution Engineer, System Engineering, Solution Consultant, Sales Engineer
  • BS/BA Degree in Business Studies, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering, with a focus on healthcare operations or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and shows creativity when solving business problem
  • Ability to understand the broader enterprise technical ecosystem to articulate solutions in our healthcare technology value proposition
  • A demonstrated team player that thrives on high performance and flexibility working in a dynamic environment. Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple roles
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-directed with excellent organizational, analytical, writing, interpersonal and project-related skills
  • Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate at multiple organizational levels across the organization and with hospitals, healthcare practices, and technology vendors
  • Experience building statements of work/charters, managing BAA’s, SLA’s, MSA’s contractual agreements, HIPAA compliance practices
  • Project management experience required

Travel ~25% not to exceed 50%
