Job Responsibility:

Sales Associates are responsible for promoting and selling products along with driving increased sales, improving buying experience and elevating company profile with target market. Common work activities for this job include attracting new customers, communicating with prospects on the phone or face-to-face, advising clients how to match various furniture items and keeping merchandise presentable to maximize business revenue. Effectively demonstrate products, overcome objections and close sales. Persuasive in negotiating contracts and diplomatic in communicating with customers to build long-term, productive relationships.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Recommended products based on customer needs and desires, answered questions regarding products
• Maintained a knowledge of sales, promotions, store policies, and security practices
• Provided knowledgeable, honest, and superior customer service.
• Consistently demonstrated professional customer service to external and internal showroom clients.
• Worked diligently in a fast pace environment while taking care of multiple clients at a time.
• Coordinated furniture floor plans and accessories with color schemes.
• Provided customer assistance involving selling, loading furniture, and measuring
• Assisted customers with choosing decorative home décor and furnishings
• Designed furniture displays
• Organized sales-floor to maintain clean and well stocked showroom
• Assembled, cleaned, and loaded furniture into customers vehicles
• Ensured each customer received outstanding service by establishing a friendly environment through pleasant greetings and acknowledging furniture related concerns
• Exemplified outstanding customer service skills noted by patrons
• Demonstrated the ability to interact as a team member by communicating effectively with co-workers for customer satisfaction
• Explained special financing plans, delivery procedures, and warranties to customers
• Coordinated delivery with customers and warehouse personnel
• Maintained assigned areas and assisted with keeping showroom attractive and neat

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older
• High school or GED
• Sales or Retail Expiernce (1 year minimum)
• Bilingual (prefered but not mandatory)
• Ability to lift 35 pounds
