The Role
Shani Darden Skin Care is passionate about helping people achieve their best skin through education and simple skin care routines, centered on powerful treatment products that deliver real results. As a Shani Darden Sales and Education Executive, you will be responsible for leading Sales & Education for an assigned territory, to drive sales of Shani Darden Skin Care products through in store education, events and sales support in retail stores, with a heavy focus on SEPHORA stores. A significant portion of the role will be to interact directly with clients in the retail store environment.
You will play a key role in building brand awareness in market through education and introducing customers to the Shani Darden Skin Care brand, delivering measurable results to achieve company sales goals.

What You’ll Do
Territory Responsibility
· Oversee select number of doors directly in-home base territory, and provide in store education and sell through support, including selling side by side with Beauty Advisors in SEPHORA stores.
· Manage monthly calendar to optimize store education and sales support in territory.
· Create and nurture relationships with SEPHORA Store Leadership/Support Teams/Beauty Advisors, District/Regional Leadership to educate and keep Shani Darden Skin Care top of mind for all in store and regional opportunities.
· Identify opportunities to grow business in territory, including each SEPHORA “world” and in market opportunities.
· Achieve sales goals for territory.
· Report weekly sales and education activity of territory to company.
· Weekly/monthly analytical analysis of sales versus goals for assigned territory.
· As business scales, recruit, interview, mentor and develop freelance sales and education support.
Education and Events
· Work closely with Shani Darden Corporate Team on planning/executing education and sales initiatives and events (Retailer Train the Trainer Events, Retailer National Education Events, In store and Off-Site Shani Darden Skin Care Brand Events).
International
· Collaborate with Shani Darden Skin Care Corporate Team on International Press and Education trip planning as well as in market execution.
· Make recommendations for in-market business development based on market feedback and competitive brand assessment when in market.
Travel
· Weekend/overnight travel up to 25%, based on territory development.

Education & Skills
· Bachelor’s Degree or equal experience.
· 5+ years’ experience in sales and education in the prestige beauty industry. Prior skin care and specialty beauty retail experience strongly preferred.
· Strong communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to create effective relationships, collaborate internally and externally at all organizational levels.
· Adaptable to working with and teaching various personality types.
· A problem solver who sees every challenge as an opportunity for growth and improvement.
· Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general comfort with new programs/aps.
· Flexibility to work key business hours, including evenings/weekends.
· Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
· Esthetician license, and experience at a high growth and entrepreneurial company, a plus.
