Kevin Smith Sports opened its doors in 1986 when Kevin purchased Jansen Sports, with the vision of providing quality sports clothing and equipment to the people of Franklin County, Vermont. After 32 years of retail, Kevin Smith Sports in St. Albans, VT transitioned to a new focus in Team Sports and Corporate Apparel​. We are locally owned, but pack a big punch with our buying power through being members of national buying groups. We offer elite brands like Under Armour, Adidas, Augusta Sportswear Brands (Augusta, Holloway, Russell), Bauer, CCM, and much more!

No matter the path chosen over all these years, the focus has always been to offer a quality product at a fair price with outstanding service to all our valued customers.

We are looking for a new Sales Representative that shares our passion for outfitting teams and organizations. Sales Representatives must be able to multi-task, offering excellent customer service while also being organized and motivated to sell.

Job Details:

· Office location: St. Albans, VT

· Work Hours: 8AM – 4:30PM Monday-Friday

· Salary Range: $50,000 - $57,000 + Commission (unlimited potential!)

· Healthcare & IRA Contributions available

· Primarily in office, but occasional outbound sales visits

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain an already established territory

· Expansion of existing customer base

· Proactively reach out to customers with apparel and equipment opportunities

· Respond to customer e-mails and calls within a timely fashion

· Complete necessary daily paperwork and submit orders to vendors

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Computer & organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (inside and outside the organization)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree OR 3+ years in sales and/or customer service
  • Passion for athletics and the community
