Safety Patrol Associate (2nd Shift) 4PM-12AM Job at Samsung Electronics
Position Summary
The Safety Patrol is responsible for working with EHS Safety Specialist to conduct safety patrol inside and outside of the manufacturing facility.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Conduct safety patrol in the factory per the existing procedures.
2. Observe any health and safety hazards and report them to safety specialist or EHS manager.
3. Work with other EHS, Security, and Utilities members in case fire or emergency evacuations occur.
4. All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: Minimum 0-1 year of experience in the safety patrol (manufacturing workplace experience preferred).
- Knowledge: OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.
- Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, Basic skill to use Microsoft Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Physical requirements: Able to lift up to 35 lbs., ability to climb a ladder, ability to squat and bend, and ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
