Abbeville General Hospital is hiring for a Clinical Nurse Supervisor (RN) at the AGH Clinic: Full time Clinical Nurse Supervisor for day shift (7:30a-4:00p)

The Clinic Supervisor (RN) will work under the direct supervision of the Director of RHC Operations and will be responsible for operational and management oversite of the AGHC in Abbeville, LA. Ensures a positive patient centered experience by modeling, promoting, and cultivating a commitment to customer service as evidenced by minimal waiting, appointment preparations, proper identification and rooming of patients, and safe delivery of services.

Responsibilities include management of nurses (LPNs), Front Office Clerks, and certified medical assistants (CMAs), environmental monitoring in the clinical areas, and promotion and implementation of quality improvement initiatives that are aligned with organizational safety and operational goals. The Clinic Supervisor (RN) will work collaboratively with the Chief Operating Officer, Director of RHC Operations, Director of RHC Quality and Compliance, and others within the RHC healthcare team to optimize patient satisfaction, experience, and outcomes.

Clinical Nurse Supervisor (RN) Skill Requirements:

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft office products
• Ability to sustain effective working relationships with senior management, physicians, and all levels of employees

Clinical Nurse Supervisor (RN) Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree an accredited school of Nursing
• Current/Active Louisiana State Board of Nursing Licensure
• Current/Active CPR certification

Clinical Nurse Supervisor (RN) Required Experience:

• Minimum of three (3) years of progressive nursing experience (required)
• Experience in a clinical setting (preferred)
• Supervisory experience (preferred)

Clinical Nurse Supervisor (RN) Physical Requirements:

• Medium Work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor constitutes a maximum lift of 21-50 pounds on occasion and/or a maximum lift of 11-25 pounds on a frequent basis
