Shift: Days
Weekend Rotation: Every Other
This position is responsible for monitoring all residents, family/visitor concerns, staffing needs, general welfare and safety of all residents and employees. He/She will observe the resident care in their designated area/s as well as work as a Charge Nurse on applicable shifts. The Registered Nurse is responsible for following facility policies and procedures, for notifying appropriate authorities and administration about any unusual problems and/or situations that may arise during their shift.
Qualifications:
- Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a current Registered Nurse license from the State of Minnesota. License must be in good standing.
- A true passion for working with Gerontological Nursing.
- Compassion and empathy are a key component in this role and an expectation for our nursing staff.
- Strong communication skills are required. Must be able to communicate with tact and professionalism.
- Must have current BLS healthcare provider certification.
- Previous EMR experience a plus!
Schedule:
- This position is scheduled Day hours, total of 40 hours per two-week pay period that includes working every other weekend and participates in our holiday rotation.
