Job Description:

The Billing Cycle Revenue Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the billing processes and revenue generation activities within an organization. This role requires a strong understanding of financial operations, revenue recognition principles, and billing systems, as well as excellent analytical and leadership skills. The Billing Cycle Revenue Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, such as finance, sales, customer service, and IT, to ensure accurate and timely billing, maximize revenue generation, and improve overall financial performance.

Billing Process Management:
Develop, implement, and maintain efficient and accurate billing processes and procedures.
Monitor billing operations to ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and revenue recognition standards.
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline billing cycles and enhance revenue generation.
Revenue Generation:
Analyze revenue streams and identify opportunities to optimize billing and collection procedures.
Collaborate with sales teams to ensure accurate pricing, contract terms, and billing details for new and existing customers.
Develop strategies to increase revenue, minimize revenue leakage, and reduce billing errors.

Billing System Administration:
Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of billing systems and related software tools.
Work closely with IT teams to troubleshoot system issues, enhance system capabilities, and integrate billing systems with other business systems.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze billing data and financial reports to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Generate regular reports on billing performance, revenue forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for revenue optimization and financial decision-making.

Team Leadership:
Lead and develop a team of billing and revenue professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Foster a collaborative and customer-focused work environment within the team and across departments.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Proven experience in billing operations, revenue management, or finance.
Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles (such as ASC 606) and billing processes.
Familiarity with billing systems and software such as (Careologic/ Qualifacts) an , such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and billing automation tools
Proficient in data analysis and financial reporting using spreadsheets and business intelligence tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
