Front End Supervisor

• Assist the management team by ensuring amazing customer service at the register, helping with daily operations and to coach and develop Front End Associates.
• Accountable for a front end team that delivers a fast and friendly customer experience with accurate transactions and a balanced shift
• Assist the managers by training and coaching the Front End Associates on all policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Provides backup and support to the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager during their absences.
• Manages all front-end activities which includes monitoring cash accountability, reconciling the shift, assists with schedule writing, completes supply ordering, performs cashier checks and flows up on performance logs
• Partners with management in interviewing, selecting, and onboarding employees
• Creates and edits the work schedule of cashiers as well as the scheduling of employees, storewide.
• Appraises productivity; handling employee grievances or complaints, assists management in disciplining employees
• Serves as a key carrier to open and close the store
• Serves customers in assigned departments, or storewide, and provides needed advice or information

Floor Supervisor

• Shares the responsibility for the overall performance of the store and assists the store management team with generating sales operation
• Have a general understanding of every department, driving a customer service culture, developing staff, maintaining store appearance, controlling expenses and cash handling procedures
• Acts as lead sales associate in training and reviewing the work of employees within the assigned department
• Effectively oversee the sales floor to ensure customer / associate awareness at all times
• Maintain effective and efficient operations in the manager and/or assistant manager’s absence to include associate and employee safety practices, injury and illness reporting, etc.
• Motivate and develop associates to meet goals / objectives
• Serve customers in assigned departments, or storewide, and provide needed advice or information.
• Assist customers with complaints
• Remain current on all company policies and ensure that all policies, standards and procedures are maintained and followed in a consistent manner.
