Retail Shipping Store Manager (solo)
Postal Annex is a full-service retail shipping store located in Raleigh Hills.
This is a unique position in that we are a one-person operation. Meaning, you must be willing and able to operate the store on your own, without co-workers. The reason being that the workload and amount of customers we get daily is best suited for just one employee. If you are self-reliant and enjoy working solo, this could be a great position for you.
We offer USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL shipping services, as well as our faxing, notary, copy, shredding, passport photo, and mailbox rental. Our customers rely on us to provide them with a fast, friendly, and convenient alternative to the local post office.
Postal Annex employees are expected to learn and retain a wide range of information in order to succeed in their position. Experience is preferred, but training will be provided.
The right candidate should also possess:
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills
- Self-Starting Attitude
- Presentable Appearance
- Basic Computer, Typing, and Data Entry Skills
- Ability to Multi-task
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Job duties will include, but may not be limited to:
- Processing shipments via PostalMate and CashMate software
- Packing items for shipping
- Setting up private mailboxes
- Logging incoming packages, sorting mail
- Copy jobs, Scanning documents
- Provide Notary and Passport Photo services
- Stocking and maintaining a clean store front
- Ordering retail merchandise and store supplies
