Full & Part Time Retail Sales Associate - Florence, South Carolina - Starting pay $11.00/Hour

You are applying for a job at a locally owned and operated franchise of The UPS Store. We are the retail store and NOT the package delivery service known as United Parcel Service (UPS).

The UPS Store, the nations largest franchiser of business and print services has an excellent opportunity for a sales and service associate in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will have at least six months retail experience, with excellent customer service, sales and/or print and computer skills. Must be well organized and professional. We offer a competitive wage, plus incentives and an ability to grow in our company. Full and part-time positions are available. Must be able to work a shortened day on some Saturdays.

Some of the Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Greet customers in a friendly manner; determine customer needs, and how to exceed their expectations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through customer engagement and quality product delivery.
• Be knowledgable of products and services offered and properly promote them to our customers.
• Record all sales transactions completely and accurately in Point of Sale system.
• Pack contents for shipping using established procedures and products.
• Ability to receive and prepare documents for printing.
• Receive and process packages for shipping, including lifting and weighing packages on scale, accessing manifesting software and generating labels.
• Assist in merchandising the center as well as keeping a clean center.
• Perform end of day duties: reconciliation of cash, checks, money orders, credit cards, and all other transactions. Candidate(s) must be able to count back currency (bills & coins).

The UPS Store is a great a place to work. The skills you learn here will be helpful no matter what career path you choose. Our hours of operation are: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM. Sat 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Shifts are normally 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 10:00AM - 6:30 PM, Mon-Fri. We rotate on Saturdays.
